Are you passionate about supporting children's emotional well-being? We are looking to recruit a dedicated ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) to join our team for two afternoons a week. This is a temporary role for 5 hours a week involving 4 hours of direct support with students and an additional hour for planning. The contract will be between the 24th February and 18th July 2025, during term time only.

We are looking for someone with:

·           experience of working in school (essential)

·           previous teaching experience is an advantage.

·           a nurturing spirit and a commitment to helping children thrive

·           GCSE English & Maths (or equivalent)

·           skills of empathy, listening, communication and responding with appropriate language to build rapport with children

·           a flexible, adaptable and positive attitude to working in a structured environment

·           good communication skills to promote and develop effective working with pupils and colleagues
