Job title: Temporary Teaching Assistant

Contract: Temporary contract until 17th July 2026
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only.
Commencement date: ASAP

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and well-established team. This post is for 15 hours a week during Term Time and will be predominantly providing 1:1 support for children in Key Stage 1. It is a temporary contract until 17th July 2026.
We are looking for someone with:
• experience of working with children
• a good written standard of English & Maths (GCSE pass or higher)
• a willingness to undertake additional training
• skills of empathy, listening, communication and responding with appropriate language to build rapport with children
• confidence to support children with additional needs
• a flexible, adaptable and positive attitude to working in a structured environment
• good communication skills to promote and develop effective working with pupils & colleagues
We can offer you, the support of a committed Senior Leadership Team, a welcoming, friendly and cohesive staff team and training opportunities. Please note that leave must be taken when the school is not in session.
